And throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth . - Matthew 13:50 During most of my life, I never gave using the word much thought. But after being saved the word just started making my toes cringe. I hear people joke 'Oh I am going to hell for this' Would they really make fun of it if they knew what that entitled? Are we as a society just getting use to Hell. It seems people don't even flinch with the thought of going to Hell, and it is scary if people do not fear it, then they are less likely to seek away from it, less likely to seek God. I also see people calling themselves sinners like it is a good thing, a little cute, treating the word sinner like it is something to be smiled or giggled at, like it eating a cookie before dinner. We are being bombarded with hell, and sin as things to strive for..as that is what the cool kids are doing. That person will also drink of the wine of God’s anger that has been mixed undiluted in the cup of his wrath, and he will be tortured with fire and sulfur in front of the holy angels and in front of the Lamb. - Revelation 14:10 The reason I feel the need to write this is because I hope maybe someone reads this, maybe a person like me who had not given it a thought. Perhaps someone seeing what a dangerous game we are playing with our souls. And the smoke from their torture will go up forever and ever, and those who worship the beast and his image will have no rest day or night, along with anyone who receives the mark of his name. - Revelation 14 :11 The truth is we have a choice of going with one of 2 men.. We can only choose one way. One loves us, one hates us. One is life, one is death. One is love, one is hate One wants to see us succeed, one wants to see us fail. One is more socially acceptable than the other – Why is that? Why is it that the one who loves us and wants only the best for us is not the one majority of people choose? Is it because our society likes the other one better? Is it because we have just stopped fearing hell? Whatever the reason is we need to everyday seek God, heaven and goodness and turn away from hell and sin. I do not know what heaven is like, but I fully trust that what God has prepared for us, is beyond what any of us could ever imagine. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. - Revelation 21:4
